Need a hand?

Email us. There is no account to make, no ticket to open, and no chatbot in the way — a message goes straight to the people who build the app.

What to tell us

None of this is required — send what you have and we will ask if we need more. But if something is broken, these four things are usually what turn a report into a fix:

Screenshots and screen recordings help more than anything else. If you can capture the problem happening, send that and skip the rest.

Common questions

How do I make The Browser my default browser?

Open iOS Settings ▸ Apps ▸ Default Apps ▸ Browser App and choose The Browser. Links you tap in other apps will then open here.

Do you collect any of my browsing data?

No. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no trackers, and almost everything the app does happens on your device. The privacy policy is deliberately short, and it is the whole story rather than a summary of one.

Where is my history, and can I get it back?

Your history, bookmarks, reading list and saved sessions live on your device, and sync between your own devices through your private iCloud account if you turn that on. You can export all of it from Settings ▸ Import & Export at any time.

How much of the AI runs on my device?

That is your choice. The on-device models run entirely offline, with nothing leaving the phone. If you bring your own API key for a cloud model instead, the page text is sent to that provider to answer — which is why cloud models are switched off automatically in private tabs.

I found a bug. Is it worth reporting?

Yes. Small, precise reports are the most useful kind, and a surprising number of the fixes in recent releases started as one sentence from someone who noticed something was slightly off.

Can I ask for a feature?

Please do. We cannot promise to build everything, and we would rather say no than say yes and quietly never do it — but knowing what people actually want is how the roadmap gets decided.

Privacy, when you write to us

Your email lands in a mailbox we read, and nowhere else. We do not run it through a helpdesk product, we do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not add you to a mailing list. If you would rather not send your address at all, that is fair — but then we have no way to reply.
