Terms of Use
One set of terms for every app The Browser.ai makes. Last updated 28 October 2026.
Apps these terms cover
These terms cover all of the apps made by The Browser.ai (“we”, “us”), on every device they run on:
The BrowserPrivate web browser for iPhone and iPad
Kaffe TimeNews reader for iPhone and iPad
WsprMeeting recorder for iPhone and Mac
Tidy LiteDisk cleaner for Mac
KobitoAI agents for iPhone, iPad and Mac · coming soon
When we release a new app, it is added to this list and these terms apply to it from the day it is available. How each app handles your data is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptance
By using any of our apps you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies as well.
Third-party websites and content
The Browser, Kaffe Time, and Kobito let you access third-party websites, feeds, and services. Those sites are not operated by us; we are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms. Articles shown in Kaffe Time belong to their publishers.
Your responsibilities
You agree to use the apps lawfully and not to use them to infringe others’ rights, distribute malware, or attempt to disrupt or misuse the apps. You are responsible for the content you access, record, and store with them.
Recording meetings
The law on recording conversations differs between countries. Before you record a meeting or call with Wspr, you are responsible for telling the other participants and getting their consent wherever the law requires it.
AI-generated content
Summaries, briefs, recaps, answers, replies, drafts, and translations in our apps are generated by AI models and can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important against the original page, article, or recording before you rely on it.
AI agents that act for you
Kobito’s agents can take steps for you, such as adding calendar events and reminders, sending email from an account you connect, or calling tools on servers you add. By default they ask before anything that reads your personal information or changes your data. Read each request before you approve it. If you change a rule so that a kind of step runs without asking, you are responsible for what those steps do.
Bring-your-own-key and self-hosted AI
If you connect a cloud AI provider using your own API key, or an AI server you run yourself, you are responsible for that key or server, for any usage charges the provider bills you, and for complying with the provider’s terms. The app simply relays your request to the service you configured.
Cleaning up your Mac
Tidy Lite checks every item again before it removes it, and sends your own files to the Trash rather than deleting them. Some system folders can only be removed from macOS Recovery, where you run the command yourself. Back up your Mac with Time Machine first, and read each step before you confirm it.
Third-party trademarks and content
Screenshots, mockups, and other images on this website and in our marketing materials may show third-party websites and their content, shown solely to demonstrate how the apps work. All third-party trademarks, service marks, logos, product names, and content are the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not indicate any partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation between those owners and The Browser.ai, and no such relationship should be inferred. If you own material shown and would like it removed, email thebrowser.ai@proton.me and we will do so.
Open-source software
Where an app includes open-source components, each is used under its own licence, and the app lists them; in The Browser, the full list is in Settings ▸ About ▸ Open-Source Licenses. Your use of those components is governed by their respective licences.
No warranty
Our apps are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the apps will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the apps or of any website or service accessed through them.
